National Council on Climate and Air Quality launched in South Korea.

Environmental Issue 1

The Korean government launched a new agency called National Council on Climate and Air Quality and former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon took a leading role as Chairman of the agency.

The main purpose of the agency is to deal with fine dust issues by communicating and collaborating with other counties, non-profit organizations, and a variety of experts in different fields.

Global citizens expect that the agency would be able to handle fine dust issues as well and focus on how to protect people from fine dust.

As many experts said, fine dust had an impact negatively on the Korean society and even other Asian countries.

Under this environment, it would be necessary to think about how to solve this problem together.
