The Low Carbon Program initiated by Ping An has been successful and keeps going well

Ping An has been one of the world’s largest insurance companies and its core businesses are insurance, banking, and financial services. Ping An announced that it has tried to implement 100 low-carbon measures in daily operation, business promotion and social welfare.  

In Ping An’s comments, the purpose of the Low Carbon Program is to create an environmental-friendly company by getting involved in energy conservation and emission reduction.

On December 31, 2016 Ping An succeeded in reducing carbon emission of 36,433 tons and at the same time it issued 2,609 environmental liability insurance policies.
